Assignment Given 1/24/12

Our new book is "Enjoying Your Journey With God" by Daniel A. Brown, PhD, but unfortunately the printing was delayed so we passed out a photocopy (with permission from publisher) of the first chapter tonight.  If you missed tonight, you can get it on Kindle but the format isn't user-friendly for the homework and use in class, but it's an option for you to obtain it if you missed tonight.  Otherwise the books will hopefully be available this weekend in the Bookstore.

Read the Introduction and start reading Chapter 1 up to about halfway through page 7.  You can stop before the heading "God's Favorite Name."  The homework is to read and answer the questions after page 5 under the heading "What God Really Wants."

The FORGE 1/17/12

Tonight was our first night back after the Christmas break, but unfortunately our new book hasn't arrived yet.  We talked about the goal of The FORGE and went over 2 Timothy 1 and discussed it.

The assignment is to start listening to the MP3's of "The Foundation of the Word" series.  If you haven't picked up this MP3 album in the Bookstore you can listen to them online here.
