The Blessing

Here's the blessing we did last night:

O MAN OF GOD:

May you love the Lord your God:

-with all your heart

-and with all your soul

-and with all your strength.

Be strong in the Lord.

-  and in His mighty power,

-  stand firm against all the strategies of the devil.

And through the power of Christ who lives in you:

-  May you walk as a “Man of God” this week.

In the strong name of Jesus, I pray,

Amen.

Homework Assignment Given 3/29

The homework assignment given last night was to read 2 Timothy 1 and answer the question "How do I serve the Lord?" You should find at least a dozen things. No additional reading was given in "Disciplines of a Godly Man" but you should have read up through chapter 3 by now if you haven't already.
